Bleary-eyed and jubilant, Super Bowl organizers swung into cleanup mode Monday and hoped the rave reviews from fans and journalists over how it pulled off its first Super Bowl will draw the NFL's showcase event back to town.

The group that helped bring Super Bowl XLVI to Indianapolis said the next opportunity to host the event, at the earliest, would be 2017.

New Yorker Jeff Shinder has attended the past three Super Bowls. Two years ago, he experienced the sunshine and South Beach high life of Miami. Last year, it was the bigger-than-life Southern spectacle of Arlington, Texas.
